Welcome back Junior Ryan Fleischauer to the Varsity Line Up. With the 4-3 OT win Ryan scored two goals returning to the lineup for the first time this season. Noah Tloczkowski had a good game between the pipes, making big stops late in a tight game and helping the T-Birds register their first win of the season. Jackson Tomforde continues to contribute offensively with his 2nd goal of the season. Defensemen Danny Jung registered his first point with the T-Birds, and returning Senior Sean Connolly had a beautiful assist on Jackson Tomforde’s goal. And of course Senior and team Captain Matteo Marchese scored his second goal of the season with the OT winner midway through the extra period, proving there is no such thing as a bad shot! Congrats to the team and coaches for a hard fought 1st win of the 2022/23 season.
Varsity is back in action on Oct. 5th vs West Islip at 9:20pm. Meanwhile Freshmen skates this Saturday night at 6:30pm on Oct. 1st, and the JV squad returns to the Rinx vs. KP/Commack on Sunday Oct. 2nd at 4:50pm.
