Spectators' Code of Conduct
How fans and family help create a great hockey environment.
- Display good sportsmanship at all times.
- Always respect players, coaches, and officials.
- Do not taunt or disturb other fans — enjoy the game together.
- Cheer good plays made by all participants. Avoid booing opponents.
- Cheer positively and encourage fair play. Profanity and offensive gestures have no place at the rink.
- Help provide a safe and fun environment. Never throw items onto the ice — they can injure players or officials.
- Support the referees and coaches by trusting their judgement and integrity.
- Be alert and responsible for your own safety — flying pucks and other rink hazards can be avoided.
- Respect locker rooms as private areas for players, coaches, and officials.
- Be supportive after the game, win or lose.
- While the game is in play, stand behind the yellow rails.
