Congrats to Coach John Ree with his 4023 Game Coached (ha) and yet another Win! Great job to the team, a well earned shutout victory, 7-0 vs. Longwood. Alex Clark stopped all shots faced in this one sided affair. Newbie Alex Theodorellis found the net twice, while his line mate Will Bozeman set the tone with physical play and hard work. Captain Chris Esposito return to the line up and had two goals, and T-Birds veterans Andrew Snyder, Chase Haggerty, & Brady Hall each chipped in with a Goal. Congrats to Theo Tanzi and Matthew Warner with their first points as members of the T-Birds organization. The defensive core in front of Alex was good all night, helping to the shutout! Freshmen played a very skilled Sachem team and lost 8-3. The games was tight late in the second at 4-2, after the T-Birds fought back from a 4-0 hole. Lots of players stepped up and matched the Sachem talent and speed, which is needed as the team moves forward. Congrats to Joe Villani as he records a hatrick and his 8th goals of the season. Mike Lagonigro with his first point of the season, and Jacob Brussey recorded his first ever point as a T-Bird. Gavin Beisel recorded his 3rd assist on the season. The Freshmen are back at it on Saturday Oct. 1st at 6:30pm vs KP/Commack.
This Friday Night Varsity looks to get in the Win Column with a game vs Middle Country – 10:10pm. We look forward to seeing the program on hand supporting the Team!
