T-Birds varsity team is one win away away from .500 record after last nights most complete win of the season vs Northport, 7-1. The game featured relentless pressure by the T-Birds on Offense, leading to 7 goals with and 10 players contributing to the score sheet.
Early in the game Shane Kirby kept the game scoreless with timely saves and excellent play. The offense came halfway through the 1st period, the door for scoring stayed open the rest of the game. Ryan Fleishauer opened the scoring with a great individual effort to make it one nothing, with T-Birds never looked back; Ryan finished with 1 Goal and 3 Assists. Eathan Brdey scored his first of three goals shortly thereafter, 1st career Hatrick for Eathan – Congrats.
Ryan Delucie netted two goals on the night, and had a very solid game on defense. And Milenko MILOVCEVICH capped off the scoring for the T-Birds. Other notable contributors to the score sheet were Matt Campagnola with 3 assists, Alex Deleon with 2 assists, Ricky Guterwill and Jack Mercado each with an assist. Sophmore Logan Booth Alam played in his first game and was an instant postive producer with 2 Assist! We are very happy to have Logan on board for the rest of the season; welcome and good luck Logan.
