On Dec. 23rd against the frigid air of a winter blast the Freshman T-Bird Squad along with assistance from JV players Larry Andres and Joe Jackalone volunteered time to the Warrior Ranch Foundation. The foundation takes the passion for horses, love of country, and appreciation of our nation’s veterans having combined to bring forth this unique organization designed to help veterans and rescue horses, https://www.warriorranchfoundation.org/default.aspx.

Freshmen parents to Goalie Reilly Hanley have decorated their house for years during the holidays, and for one night during the holidays they provide hot chocolate, snacks, Christmas songs, visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, photo opportunities and more in exchange for a donation to the foundation. This year in addition to our T-Birds freshman squad there was assistances from the Dix Hills Hawks travel squads as well; always good to see the hockey community supporting any worthy cause! Thank you to the players and their parents for braving the cold and contributing to a fun evening: Reilly Hanley, Michael Lagonigro, Julia Modanno, Joe Villani, Gavin Beisel, Mason Perty, Vincent Miciletto, Nick and Matt Proscia.
