We like to recognize our very own Matt Campagnola on winner the LIAHL $1000 Scholarship awards to three (3) seniors each season that are entering college in the fall after the high school graduation. Matt as we know is a tremendous leader for the T-Birds Hockey program and as well in all walks of life. Matt played 4 seasons with the T-Birds at each level (9th -Freshmen/ 10th – JV/ 11th & 12th – Varsity) and was appointed Assistant Captain of the 2023/24 squad.
Matt was a member of the Long Island Royals through LIAHL for travel this past season; as well as the winner of a NY State Championship in 2022/23 with the PAL 16U AA program. Matt has a very supportive family through his mom and dad, as well as two sisters, and numerous friends throughout school & the hockey communities.
Matt will be happy to apply these funds towards SUNY Binghampton, where he will attend this coming fall and plans to play hockey at the university as well. Matty we will continue to follow your progress at school and in life, and I know we will see you back helping the T-Birds Hockey Program over time. Thank you for all that you did to help the Program, and congradulations on the well deserved scholarship!
