With the recently announced schedule the T-Birds Varsity club is looking forward to the season. The players are looking forward to all games this season, but here are a few spotlighted matchups.
Opening Night – Sept. 24th, Sunday at 7:50pm vs. Sachem. The Warriors finished 5th last season and were an early exit from the Playoffs. T-Birds and Sachem split their games last season, and Sachem figures to be a team at the top of the division with many returning key players.
Oct. 4th, Weds at 7:50pm vs St. Anthony’s. The Friars are back to back Suffolk County Champions, first coming at the expense of the T-Birds and last season against East Islip.
Oct. 25th, Weds at 9:20pm vs East Islip. The traditional rivals for the T-Birds due to proximity and familiarity, this is always a high intense game between two good programs.
Feb. 9th, Friday at 10:10pm vs West Islip. This is Senior Night, sorry mom’s for the late start but lets pack the house!
