As we near the halfway mark of the season we would like to recognize some the T-Birds Peak Performers within the League and our Program. The T-Birds goal is to develop our athletes into hockey players that compete to their own highest levels; from Rec Leaguer to Tier 1 abilities. Big thanks to you parents for the time and support. As well a BIG THANK YOU to our coaches for their dedication to their teams and all the players in our Program.

Joseph Villani, 8th Grader in the Connetquot School District. Joe leads all of Suffolk High School hockey in goals with 18, and is second in the Freshman Division in points with 21. Joe is not just a goal scorer, as he is an excellent two-way player sometimes playing defense for the team as well.

Chris Esposito, 10th Grader in the Bayport Blue Point School District is one of the JV Divisions top defensive scores with 11 points. He ranks in the top 15 for points in the Division.

Alex Clark & Richie Westoff, both 10th Grade Goaltenders from Sayville and Connetquot for the JV Team have absolutely been performing at the top of their games. They are major contributors to the JV Team’s ability to compete in all games this season, keep it up boys!

Ryan Fleischauer, 11th Grade Varsity player leads the team in scoring with 11 points in just 7 games played. Ryan ranks in the top 15 for scoring in this ultra competitive division. Ryan is playing in his 5th season with the T-Birds and we look forward to watching his game continue to get better.

Jackson Tomforde, 12th Grade Varsity player from Sayville is having a tremendous senior season. He has posted a season high in points with 10 (5 G, 5 A) in 9 games and ranks in the top 20 for the league. Jackson is one of the few carries over from last season’s varsity squad and his experience is vital to this years success.

Noah Tloczkowski, 12th Grade Varsity Goalie from Sayville has posted a 3 Wins with 0 Loses this season. He is working with a goals against average of 2.65 in his starts this season. Another experienced Varsity player that knows what it will take to advance into this season’s playoffs.
