What a game on Friday night for the JV squad vs Longwood Lions. The teams came into the match up with very different records but delivered on entertainment for sure! The T-Birds came away with a 5-4 OT Victory, giving them 2 needed points, sitting only one victory out of the last playoff spot with 4 games remaining.
The game featured 4 Lead Changes, ultimately with the T-Birds scoring 2 and half minutes into OT for the victory. Sophomore Andrew Snyder had his biggest night to date for the T-Birds scoring the Hatrick with 2 Goals in the Second Period and the eventual OT winner to cap off the memorable night. Other Goal Scorers include Sophomore Will Bozeman on the games first goal with assists from line mates Warner & Theodorellis, Bozeman second of the season. Chris Esposito tied the game with 2:37 left in the game to send it to OT, Chris’ 17th goal of the Season, with an assist from Tyler Snacdiffo.
